As Chief Operating Officer of Centerstone of America, Barry Hale works with the Executive Council (comprised of Centerstone’s CEOs) to ensure that enterprise operations decisions represent the best interests of the entire enterprise while supporting the unique strengths and challenges possessed by our service companies. He also ensures that Centerstone creates an effective enterprise budget each year and works to safeguard the organization’s place as an industry leader in engagement, efficacy, access and customer service.

Mr. Hale joined Centerstone in 2008 as Vice President for Business Development, at which time he oversaw Centerstone’s merger with Indiana-based Center for Behavioral Health (CBH) and Quinco Behavioral Health Systems.

Prior to joining Centerstone, Mr. Hale served as Chief Executive Officer of Quinco Mental Health Centers, headquartered in Bolivar, Tenn. During his career, Mr. Hale also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Health Service Initiatives, Inc., a health and human service consulting company based in Jackson, Tennessee. He has served on the boards of Tennessee Association of Mental Health Organizations, Behavioral Health Initiatives, Caldwell Homes, and the Western Mental Health Institute Board of Trustees. Mr. Hale has also been a regular contributing member of the Region VI Mental Health Planning Council and St. Mary’s Catholic Church Finance Council.

He received his B.S. in Sociology from the University of Memphis and his MSSW from the University of Tennessee’s School of Social Work.
